Which on trend make-up should I wear with a romantic chignon?
So, make-up is not your strong point? And with just a few days left until Valentine’s Day, you still don’t know which make-up to go for… Take a look at this on trend and sophisticated look, spotted at the Caroline Herrera fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
Unify your skin
Work with perfectly clean and make-up free skin. Apply your day cream to maintain your skin’s moisture and to preserve its suppleness. This will allow you to easily obtain a more even result.
Illuminate underneath your eyes with a few drops of under-eye concealer. In just a few seconds, you will reduce any signs of fatigue. Also use it to conceal spots or any unattractive blemishes. Finally, brighten up your look by applying a hint of blusher on your cheeks using a large brush.

Stop a few millimetres just beyond the outer corner of your eye to extend your eye. Then intensify it with mascara to create your desired look: extending, curving, volumizing, the ‘fake eyelash’ effect…
Dare to opt for glamorous lips
Lipstick is the undeniable star of your make-up! Choose a lipstick with intense pigments. The flagship colour this winter? Dark red, but also all of its derivatives (burgundy red, wine, prune, aubergine or purple). Passionate red, which is both timeless and a classic, will also have beautiful effects. Above all, make sure you apply your lipstick with a brush for ultimate precision.
