The half-ponytail and quiff make a comeback
The quiff and half-ponytail are making a huge comeback this season. Let’s take a closer look at this must-have look!
The look was spotted on the Valentin Yudashkin Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 runway at Paris Fashion Week. Hair was worn up in a half-ponytail that was low-slung. A lightly backcombed quiff adds volume and character whilst the messy effect adds a rock-n-roll vibe that is relaxed and off-duty. Another bonus? It is super simple to wear, whatever your individual style. The half-ponytail aspect opens up the face and highlights your make-up beautifully. Fans of the 90s era will love this hairstyle thanks to its throwback feel.
To get the look, start by washing hair with Hydration & Suppleness from the Oil Therapy range. Dry section by section, then comb backwards to the rear of the head. Allow the front pieces of hair to hang loose at the front and secure the rest into a half ponytail. You can now focus on your front section. Backcomb at the roots and shape into a rounded quiff, pinning into place with bobby pins. To finish, spray evenly with hairspray and voila!
