Start planning your Halloween hairstyle
After the release of ‘Maleficent’ this year starring Angelina Jolie, baddies have never been more popular! Why not take direct inspiration from the Disney film this October 31st? There’s no better way to do this Halloween in style and with a feminine twist.
You’ve probably already been given an invitation for this year’s fancy dress Halloween party. Previous years’ costumes may have included a dodgy-looking Dracula or unflattering witch costumes, but you’ve decided this year is going to be different. You want a scary hairstyle that shows off your cheekbones, even if the majority of your disguise is black. Just because you’re dressing up as a ghoulish character, doesn’t mean you can’t look gorgeous at the same time!
Take your outfit in a stylish direction this Halloween by copying the Andrew GN runway hairstyles. To start, section your hair into 3 parts; top, left and right. Take the upper section. Focus on the top section and braid the outer edges into thin plaits. This part of the hairstyle should resemble the horns worn by Angelina in Maleficent. After braiding your two plaits, secure your hair into a high ponytail. Use a small amount of gel to add shine. And voila! You’re ready to wow your fellow party-goers in style!
