Spring ponytail
The ponytail is loved mostly for its practicality. In a few seconds, you gather up your hair, tie it up and voilà, your hair is done. But remember that depending on where you place it, the effect will be different…
The high ponytail for a sophisticated look. Reach for the stars! By tying your hair at the top of your head, you will look leaner and give yourself a chic style. For a strict but trendy look, straighten your hair with smoothing blow dry cream and tie it together at the back. For a retro touch, add some volume by backcombing some of the hair at the top of your head and tying up in a high ponytail.
The low ponytail for a bohemian look. This rather loose option has a more casual and romantic style. To add to the effect don’t be afraid to leave a few strands loose for a slightly dishevelled effect. There is no need to straighten the hair for this. Leave your hair as it is or go for a wavy look by using a mousse to define some curls or by using curling tongs.
The sideways ponytail, an original look. Make a side-parting and tie up your hair on that side. If you want, you can accessorize with a headscarf or hair jewellery. There are two options here also. You can have a very straight ponytail with the help of straighteners, or you could make use of a soft blow dry or have gentle waves for a trendy but more casual effect. Don’t feel constrained – a ponytail can be adapted to your desires and your own creativity.
