Is grey hair soon to be a distant memory?
According to a study published in the Faseb journal, a team of European researchers based at the University of Bradford and the Arndt University in Germany have found a solution to stop hair’s natural depigmentation and even restore its colour!
Time to stop worrying about the onset of grey hair! For the first time, a treatment, christened PC-KUS, has been found to stop the whitening caused by a concentration of hydrogen peroxide in hair follicles. As we age, we are more prone to stress and therefore accumulate more of these peroxides, which is why our hair starts to turn grey, which need their own kind of TLC.
As this treatment deals with the problem’s root cause, it looks like soon we’ll no longer have to resort to colouring treatments to hide grey hairs. Now we just have to wait for this miracle product to hit the market!
