Guys: which styles suit frizzy hair types?
Guys with frizzy hair tend to fall into one of the following categories: some live with it and accept their natural hair as it is, others try to tame their unruly locks. Read on to find out which hairstyles the experts recommend for guys with frizz-prone hair.
The type of style you go for all depends on the type of frizz you have. ‘Guys with dense frizz should opt for a shorter style as this will minimise the amount of time you spend each day on your hair. Others may prefer, however, to work a more voluminous style and embrace the frizz. It all depends on your personal tastes. There aren’t a vast number of miracle solutions; either you allow your lengths to grow or you tame your already voluminous locks into a more groomed shape’.
Guys with loose curls have more styling options available than those with tight, corkscrew-like curls. ‘It’s much easier to relax the hair, however don’t attempt to completely banish your natural frizz. Head to your salon and ask your stylist to trim and work your style into a more manageable state’.
Just because you have frizz-prone hair, doesn’t mean you can’t try out a fringe or face-framing strands. ‘This look isn’t currently considered an on-trend look, however you’re free to do what suits your hair and face shape best! Especially if you’re a fan of the bouffant 80s look!
Our advice: Look after your frizzy hair by using shampoos and conditioners especially formulated for dry hair types. These will hydrate the hair whilst weighing it down slightly, making styling your hair each day much easier.
